One open meeting was held on June 20 at 10 AM at the Public Utilities Commission in Warwick, RI where the Energy Facility Siting Board issued their denial. Invenergy declined to appeal the decision by the Novemdeadline and the docket has officially been closed by the EFSB and Invenergy’s proposed Clear River Energy Center fracked gas power plant is now dead. That was followed by a formal written version of the final order delivered on November 5, 2019. Invenergy’s proposed power plant was denied by the Rhode Island Energy Facility Siting Board in their open meeting on June 20, 2019.
